The agreement

Terms of Service

These terms describe how WoArt works and what we expect from each other while you are here. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

Last updated · 27 October 2026

1. Your account

You are responsible for the name and password you choose and for activity that happens under your account. Keep your password private. You may sign in with an email-style maker name and password, or with Sign in with Apple.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your region, to create an account. If you are below the age required to agree to these terms, please use WoArt with a parent or guardian.

If you believe someone else has access to your account, change your password or sign out of all devices from Settings, and contact us at support@woart.app.

2. What belongs to you

Photographs, video and text you create remain yours. By sharing a piece in WoArt you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, resize, transmit and display that content for the purpose of operating the app — showing it to you and to other makers, and producing thumbnails or previews.

You confirm that you have the right to share what you post, including any work made with other people. You can remove a piece at any time; removing it ends the display licence, though copies may remain briefly in backups or caches.

3. A useful atelier

Share work you made or have permission to share. Do not post illegal material, harassment, private information about other people, sexual content involving minors, or content that encourages harm. Do not use the app to sell unsafe goods, impersonate someone else, or misrepresent who you are.

Gatherings listed in WoArt are organised by the maker who lists them. WoArt provides the listing and reservation tools; it does not run, supervise or insure those events. Confirm the details with the host before travelling.

4. Reports, blocks and removals

Every post, comment and profile can be reported from the screen where it appears. Reporting a profile also blocks that maker for you: their content disappears from your feed and you stop seeing each other's activity.

We review reports and may remove content, restrict features or close accounts that repeatedly break these terms. Where the law requires it, we report serious threats to the appropriate authorities.

5. Tools are aids, not advice

The Bench tools — cut lists, board feet, movement, moisture, joinery and shop maths — are calculation aids. Verify every measurement, material property and safety decision before cutting, gluing or using a machine. Woodworking involves sharp tools, dust and machinery; use appropriate protection and judgement.

6. Availability and changes

WoArt grows with the people using it. Features and these terms may change over time. When a change materially affects your rights, we will make that clear in the app before the change takes effect.

We may suspend or discontinue the service, in whole or in part. If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice so you can export the work you care about.

7. Ending the agreement

You may stop using WoArt at any time and delete your account from Settings. Deleting your account removes your profile, posts, comments, likes, follows, reservations and uploaded media from our live systems. Reports you submitted may be kept in a de-identified form for safety records.

We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms or the App Store terms.

8. Contact

Questions about the service can be sent to support@woart.app. We aim to reply within two business days.
